My F150 will not start after my wife ran out of gas but whenever I hit the gas the bleeder on the gas will it will start but shuts back off

I have a 2003 f150  my wife ran it out of gas
I put gas in it and it won't start I hit the bleed
on the funeral and it'll start but shuts back
off what could be the problem

Bleed air out of fuel line, check fuel pressure, running on low tanks affects pumps, specially when you let it run empy
