Is it worth putting a new engine in a Chevy suburban that has 181,000 miles year I think it's 2008

It all depends on the shape of the vehicle, has it been maintained properly, everything else work as it should, etc. If your rig is in good shape then yes it is worth doing an engine, but price around you will be surprised at the range of prices you will get. Stay away from the dealer.
