Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does not make a sound when I turn the key. Battery
is good. It only starts with a jolt from a screwdriver
to the starter? I've been told the starter is good tho
and I have no idea what is wrong? Please help!

When you turn your key on there is a solenoid activated that closes a set of contacts. One side goes to the battery and the other goes to the starter. Some solenoids are on the starter, others are mounted on the wall. Follow the wire from the starter backwards and you will find the solenoid.
