I have a 2011 Silverado 1500 4x4 4.8 oil pressure idle 20
down the road 40 cold 60

As oil heats up, viscosity drops and pressure drops with it too. Internal engine wear like bearings, rods or crankshaft wear does not create enough back pressure for pump to hold pressure

i would service oul and filer and go up 1 step in weight (viscosity) also add some lucas oil to it...
