Question type: Car Customization

Is it possible to put an mk4 motor in an 86 supra

665

IT IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO PUT ANY MOTOR IN ANY VEHICLE. THE ONLY THING YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DO IS ALL OF THE MODIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE SUBSTITUTE MOTOR FIT AND THEN WORK WITH YOUR CAR. WHAT IS AN mk4 ENGINE? IS IT AN INLINE SIX? IS IT A V6 OR V8? WHY WOULDN'T YOU JUST MAKE MORE HORSE POWER WITH THE 2.8? TURBO KITS ARE AVAILABLE AND WILL TAKE IT TO 250BHP. BUT FIND A FULL COPPER HEAD GASKET OR YOU WILL BURN THROUGH THE CONVENTIONAL GASKET REGULARLY.
