i have a 2003 Pontiac grand am the car won't stay
running  it will start for second then quit again

This could be a number of thing,s,best thing to do is check the fuel pressure,to make sure you are getting fuel,may be fuel pump is bad,next would be check for fire at a plug when car shuts down,without knowing these two thing,s would be just guessing.
