How can a car be at a dealership for 88 days and show 187 days on cargurus ??

From what I understand lots of dealerships switch cars with there other lots. Therefore it may have been at there lot for 88 days but has been for sale for 187 days all together. Where I live we have a chain of Liberty ford dealerships. There constantly switching cars from one lot to another
