HELP! I bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent GT
Hatchback a few months ago and it's been great,
then all of a sudden: I'm driving to my girlfriend's
house when the Oil Temp Guage stops working,
the check engine light comes on, and the car
suddenly dies while I'm in the final turn into the
neighborhood, and the brakes become super tough
to press. I use the coast to pull into her driveway,
and when I come to a stop in the driveway, I see
smoke rising from the hood. So I quickly throw the
car in park, and lift the hood, I cannot tell where the
smoke is coming from, but thereally seems to be a
build up in my coolant tank, but that's all I know.
Any help?!

What color smoke? White is water/coolant, blue/black is oil. The brakes became hard because they are power assist- once the engine stops, no more power.
