Dodge Durango 2003 wont start unless you remove number one plug wire and place it on ground then it will start and run what is the problem

I remove number one plug ground it to metal and
the vehicle starts what is the problem

Swap the COP coil with another cylinder, and see if the problem follows. If it does replace the COP coil.

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.
