thermostat replacement

Replaced thermostat in my 98 MPV,is it possible
to install it backwards,as my fan only blows hot air

Yes it can get in backwards, but you would overheat in a short period of time. If your talking about the cooling fan out front it should be pulling air through the radiator so the exhaust side of the fan will be hot air when it is up to temp. If your talking about the heater/defroster fan then that is normal unless the air flow is turned off. If it is the A/C then you have a problem with the system itself, Compressor not running, low charge, etc.
