2007 dodge charger
I have a 2007 dodge charger and the temperature
needle goes to hot but the car doesn't over heat
why is that?
First check anti freeze level making sure it is full. Low or half full may cause your problem. If that is ok bad temperature sending sensor.
Also, unplug the temperature sending unit and start the engine. The check engine light may come on because the sending unit is unplugged. Ignore it. But if the temperature gauge now reads cold, the sending unit is bad. HTH. -Jim
