If my Ford equaline 250 is shaking vibrating trying
to shut  off. Could a misfire be causing this
problem?

Could be, you might also notice a misfire more if you have a broken engine mount.

Forgot to ask; is the engine dieseling when you shut it off?

What do you mean dieseling?

Engine keeps chugging after turning it off.
