Not turning over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

02 expedition eddie bauer. The battery is fully
charged. Was running fine yesterday. Last night
got out at the store and when i returned it wouldnt
start. Checked all the connections and they are
tight. Everything comes on but wont start and
doesnt make any noise when trying to start it

Battery connections maybe tight but in between the terminal and the post could be dirty. Remove and clean terminals and post.

Next thing to check is the starter tap on starter with a hammer and have someone else try to start vehicle at the same time and see if it starts. And also if you can get to the starter solenoid cross the two connections with a screwdriver and see if it will start
