Question type: General

I have a 06 freestyle that I just bought the wrench
light comes on my car stalls Ford dealership has a
recall up to a hundred and fifty thousand miles I
took it up there they clean the throttle body and
reprogram my computer it did not work 20 miles
down the road if the light comes on it stalls out I
took it back pay them $100 to tell me the issue
they're saying transmission by reading that
everybody's comments on other websites the
transmission issue is not the problem so if
somebody knows please tell me this this car is
going to cost me a fortune I don't see how the
transmission can have an issue if it drives good
with the light off soon as the light comes on
installs light off driving great

If I can recall that your model had an issue with the throttle body period and cleaning it will not fix the issue. It was an internal issue. May want to take it to your local O'Reilly or auto parts dealer have them put a free scan on it let us know what code came up a lot of times it will say transmission.
