4.10 gear

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will it  effect  transmission  shifting to
replace a 3.73  differential with a 4.10.
2005, 2006, 2007 2500  Silverado

no..but your speedo will show faster than your going ..


If you don't re-calibrate like Kelly suggested you will notice it shifts sooner than it use too but that is about it. When it switched to 4.10's low gear shifted to 2nd at 6mph.
