Ford f150 no accelerator response at all how do
you tell if its positioning sensor or throttle body

A code check should tell you, do you have a check engine light on?

Yes but it seemed to be generic throttle body not too specific i just replaced it . was working fine till i disconnected the battery the check engine and wrench light went on pedal to floor and no response

Did you use the preset saver tool before disconnecting the battery? What year of a Ford is this?

Unfortunately no 2004

It may need the processor reflashed due to the battery disconnection, I would call the ford dealer in your area and see if your if that might be true when the battery power is interrupted. You most likely will need the VIN.
