I have a 2008 Chevy Impala with 177k miles i
havent had the transmission fluid changed since i
brought the car last year in May & everytime it
takes off it jerks i took it too get service & they will
not change the fluid is it too late too get it changed
or what can anyone tell me whats the problem ?

I would take it to another shop and have them change the fluid. It may still be the original in there and 177K does not make it automatically bad especially if the car was driven "kindly". I had 176k on a Caddy before I changed it. If that does not fix your "jerky" behavior, have a transmission shop take a look. Could be a clogged screen or something else inside that you will not be able to fix without pulling it out and looking.
