Brakes on 2013 sonata

I went to the dealer to have my tires
installed and they said my front brakes
need replacing it has 3mm and the said
when they change the brakes they also
need to change the rotors is that true that
they need to change the rotors

I agree 3mm of lining on pad time for a change and the rotors are a good idea too, notice the brake pedal pulsating? when you step on the brake. Do NOT have the rotors "turned / cut" OEM new only I expect a Hyundai Dealer to charge $500 total for this Front brake service.


As long as the brakes are not vibrating or pulsating when brakes are applied just recommend having brake pads replaced also ask them not to resurface rotors that just makes them thinner making them more acceptable to pulsating and vibrating.
