Mustang/Grand Marquis motor swap

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 liter 5 speed I
bought the vehicle with a bad motor. My question
is will a 1997 motor out of a Grand Marquis drop
into my Mustang? Also will I need to keep anything
off the Mustang motor? Will the Mustang 5 speed
transmission bolt up to the 1997 Grand Marquis
automatic engine?

Also I have matched the 8th digit on the Mustang vin to the Grand Marquis vin. Both are X
