Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 95 cobra failed to start when leaving gas
station after I had driven roughly 40 miles before
shutting it off. I let it sit for about 10 minutes n it
cranked right up n drove fine for 2-3 days. Today
omw to work (again after a 40 or so mile trip) it
died going down the road almost as if it were out
of gas after having it towed to my work I went out
at lunch and it cranked right up again. A few details
about running condition car does burn oil possible
valve seal leak not sure yet but wasnot sure if this
would have affect on my problem

Common problem with warm no start condition on the 5.0L's of that era were a failing TFI module. Also known as the ignition control module. It's the grey rectangle plastic piece attached to the side of the distributor. Replace that and you should be good on your next trip.

Thanks Tom replaced tfi and haven't had any issue since saved me a lot of time and money (part only $40)
