Had a. P0300 misfire pulled the dist to
check for worn gear it was fine reinstalled it
to tdc new cap rotor and wires now cranks
great no start whats next im reading poss
ign switch pls advise thanks glenn

the spiral helical gears are easy to have off by one tooth...if this were a Volkswagen would have a D shape distributor entry....but have had this problem....may have been a FORD...but the gear can be off by a tooth....if you've taken it out to inspect the gear and shaft...odds are perhaps is okay~


confirm spark and fuel. also crank sensor is sometimes a problem on this engine.
