transmission problem

I have a 2000 suburban, there are a coupke of problem with my truck.
One of them is that when i take off from first to second gear it hits
kind of hard. All the other gears go in some kind smooth. The other
problem is that when i am drive expressway i feel my rpm's are kind
of high, at 65 i am ta around 2600 and 2900 rpm's. Can someone help
me on telling me if there somewrong with transmission please..

Change your Transmission fluid an filter an see if that helps! When you change your fluid check to see if there's any Metal shavings in the fluid!

Also when you change the fluid and filter add some Lucas Transmission Stop Slip it may or may not help but it worked for me when I had similar problem.
