Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car will idle but dies when you give it gas

1 Answer

Check fuel pressure and flow, check for a voltage drop out in the TPS, make sure the intake tubes are on correctly and not leaking any unmetered air, clean the mass air flow sensor with mass alr flow sensor cleaner.if you haven't found the problem by now then it will have to be "live data" scanned so the tech can watch the sensor readings and the ECM's response to those readings and repair anything that is out of specs.
