Is a pre-purchase inpection of a used car always necessary?

Asked by Apr 09, 2016 at 09:19 AM

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

If I am buying a certified pre- owned Kia from a certified Kia dealer, there are
still 18 months or 28,000 miles left on the factory warranty and the Powertrain
us under warranty for 10 years/100,000 miles from the time I purchase, is it
overkill for me to take the car to a different Kia dealer for inspection before I
buy?

Not necessary, piece of mind if you want. Since it still has a warranty/CPO, things will be cover in the future.
