Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2010 Ford Expedition, I am trying to get my vehicle out of
park and it will not move, usually you depress he brake
and you move the gear shift on the center console and it
moves out of gear. Is there a simple vehicle repair to this.
I thought there was a pressure switch on the brake pedal.
Please help I'm stuck in park!!!
