Ihave a 92 Mercury Sable GS Sedan...I can
hear the power windows motors in all 4 door
working but my windows are not rolling up
or down.. what could be causing this...Its
hard to believe the gears could be bad in all
4 doors.

92 still used the big regulator units with the spring, so yes it is possible that all the gears could be stripped, most likely caused by no maintance on the window runners, gear kits are still avaliable from a parts store if not in stock most can get them overnight.
