performance tool pocket scanner

Question type: General

What is anyone's opinion on the
Performance Tool pocket scanner. I'm
asking because I've had to pay a guy $45 to
check the codes on my 2000 Chevy

Local auto parts store do it for free and you can purchase a generic scanner for $15-420 these days. All you need is to pull the 4 digit codes, it's interpreting them and what to repair is where the science comes in.
