1996 Chevy 1500

I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 , every time I
crank it , it'll start but after 5-10 seconds it
shuts off . After a few tries it will finally
crank up & run smoothly . I need some
help ! Thanks .

Its sounds like the ignition key try turn the key to acc on and off to 5 times and then start it of it changes it and starts right up and.stays running you have a clogged fuel pump/filter or the ignition relay

I tried that & still didn't work .
