my 1991 Ford Explore is having trouble backing up the left back tire axial area by the tire shakes when i back up it feels like something is trying to stop it from backing up do u know why?

Could be a spider gear or limited slip clutches going out, I would pull the insp cation cover and see what is going on inside the there.
