So I turn the key and it takes like 30 seconds to
start, I noticed the theft system light turns on, I've
changed the battery, starter is good, alt is good, I
can't figure out why I'm having such a hard time
figuring out why it doesn't just start right up like
she used to..

I have the same problem with my Kia.been told the ariel in ignition barrel isn't sending a signal to start the car. No idea if this is the problem or not will find out later in the week.

Could just need some general maintenance things done. Check air filter and replace if necessary, replace fuel filter, clean throttle with throttle body cleaner and add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank. Also if you use the low grade gas all the time try using the middle or high test gas occasionally.
