Convertibles are fair weather cars, if you live in a cold climate then a convertible is not the right car for you, if you live in a moderate climate, then will you be able to park it inside when not in use, the elements are murder on convertible tops, then there are the costs of keeping the material as fresh and limber as possible and repairing it if anything happens to it quickly, plus the extra equipment failures like the pump or relays and switches, all of this is over and above just maintaining the car itself, then there is a safety factor, convertibles have a bad reputation if involved in a crash and worse if it rolls over. So if your ready for that kind of maintenance commitment and loss of a safety factor then go ahead on. And wear sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, UV is a Heath hazard.

Thank you for your answer.
