Ground wire location

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put another alternator on my car just now and
started it with a jump. The multi meter says the
battery's only getting like 10.5 volts but I don't
know if that's a little low. After awhile of it running
everything started getting dim. Is it a ground wire?
If so where's it located. Cars a 1g eclipse.

The ground will be connected directly to the frame/firewall running from the alternator. Did you have the battery tested as well? The ground is a good place to start.

It was tested and it passed but I had it charged anyways. Is 10.5 volts while it's running good?

There's another ground wire that goes into the motor somewhere.
