Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm looking for a 1994 3000gt SL driver side
headlight mine is getting moisture from the
inside the passenger side is great
but not the driver side and its green so I
need to find a green undamaged headlight
any chance anybody out there has a
wrecked car or its not working that wants to
sell that head lamp I'm told it can be done
but I need somebody here in Nevada that
really knows how to do it they say it's a
simple thing not an expensive part and it's
not the plastic headlamp either its the glass
one for the 1994 I ordered one that the guy
said that was in 1994 it was plastic any
chance anybody could ask around I sense a
lot of people seem to love these cars mine is
original I bought it in 1994 it has 93000
miles I completely engine redone never had
transmission problems I'm talking I just
replace struts hoses breaks simple stuff I
have the maintenance records from 1994
but it is expensive because I did just put
$5,600 in it to make it hold it drives better
than it ever did I did have new speakers put
in but the person that I took to have the
speakers put it in put a $1,000 fancy stereo
in but I don't even know how to use but I
can watch movies on it so if it had new rims
it was just really look awesome I had a new
paint job it was a lousy $2,500 paint job
horrible horrible but before I had the paint
job all of the clear coat had peeled off so
yeah it looks better than it did so if anybody
out there can help me regarding this matter
that would be great I have my email on there
and you can email me at that address I
mean at my email address if you find
something I'll be glad to give you my phone
number and we can discuss it further but if
you do have a green car and it's not in good
condition and the headlight is all you have
to do is prove that the headlights good and I
will buy it from you the plastic one was 90
bucks so I'm not think brand new they were
$365 brand new so no I'm not going to pay
2 or $300 for a headlamp not when I paid
$89 for a plastic one because after 1994 the
headlights were no longer glass they were
plastic so I'm told looking forward to
hearing from someone thank you

Howdy, you might try checking with a local auto recycler and see if they may have a good one. If not they can always check their contacts and find one for you, even if they have to ship it for you it may be better than taking a risk buying online...hope this helps.
