2004 Nissan maxima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lost key had a new one made it let us start car 4x
then security system no longer allowed use of key
had them come reprogram and it did the same
thing. Neededing to know how we can fix this with
out it costing a ton at a Nissan repair. If we need
to disable security system, if its the ecn / incgnion
or something else.

I would insist the Nissan dealership fix the system for free if the original programming didn't work.
