Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys I bought a 01 s430 a couple of
months ago in the first couple of weeks the
dash lights flickered and went out then the
dials themselves stopped working but the
car still ran fine couple of days later I
repaired the front bearings and brakes car
was parked for a few weeks while I was out
of town my sister told me it wouldn't turn
over one morning ,dead battery. When I got
home I charged the battery and it started
fine, one brake had stuck to the rotor they all
had some rust from sitting. It ran fine but
noticed the light on the passager mirror
would fliker anyway yesterday at a stop it
wouldn't move when I pressed the gas,put it
in park and back in drive worked fine then
this morning battery seems dead, won't turn
over and the air suspension has lowered
itself any ideas?alternator?

Sounds like your car is in need of some TLC. I would start with the battery, might be old and not holding a charge anymore. What is the voltage? Have a local auto part store test it if it needs to be replaced and or charge it for you. They usually do that for free. The battery might be the root of your issues.
