Question type: Shopping & Pricing

So I come here really because I don't have anyone
to ask for opinions on what car I should get as a 19
year old guy. I need one that gets at least 20 mpg
but the more the marry, as for my job is a pizza
delivery driver. I myself will be paying for
everything maintenance-wise as well as insurance
(that will be on my parents plan) so I don't want a
luxury euporpian car but I want sommmeething
nice and a lil speedy I can show to the ladies
because, well, what teenage doesn't want a nice
car. My parents will be paying up to around 8 grand
with another grand for flexibility and we have a
older 2005 Tahoe I'm driving (and already paying
100 a month for insurance which is fine) that we
might trade in or sell. I also have set aside $1,500
for anything in need of fixing after I find the car I
want but I want to have to put that much money
into it right away. Originally I though of maybe a
2006 Acura rsx or maybe even a Nissan 350 but I
always have a change of mind, so any thoughts are
greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Since your using your car to delivery pizzas, I wouldn't get anything fancy. A basic sedan or coupe that is cheap and something you don't care that gets dinged up and put a lot of miles on. A honda accord, toyota corolla, ford focus come to mind.

Maybe a Chevy Aveo. We have one as a delivery car at my job and it's been great. Not necessarily going to impress the ladies but it's a dependable fuel efficient little car. HTH. -Jim
