There's gas on the spark plugs

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Everything was fine then I changed the
spark plugs now it won't crank because
there's gas in the cylinder 98 Ford mustang

If it is just one cylinder then the only way fuel can get into a cylinder is if the injector for that cylinder is leaking. Remove the spark plug on that cylinder, disable the ignition coil, turn off fuel pump, removing the fuel pump relay will work, crank engine to blow out excess fuel in the cylinder, then you can replace the injector, clean the plug and reinstall, then reconnect the coil and fuel pump, it should then start normally. Note: it could run a little rough and smoke for a little bit until it get the excess fuel out of the exhaust system
