Will the transmission from a 2001 dodge ram 1500 slt 5.9 l V8 fit my 2002 dodge ram 1500 slt v8. both are 4x2 automatic.

Not sure as there may be an issue with the computer. From 2001 to 2002 Dodge did some changes with the pcm. One change I know of is they went from a 16 tooth Reluctor ring to a 32 tooth Reluctor ring. So if 2002 pcm can run the 2001 trany, I am not sure. Just wanted to make you aware that they did some changes.
