2008 chevy Silverado z71 with 5.3/ flex fuel. Oil pressure low shut off engine warning comes on. No motor sounds to indicate lack of oil anywhere? Is it the sending unit?

Everything I have read online suggest it's the issue so for a part less than $40 im going to give it a try. I just bought this truck last night so kinda depressing


I'd go that route not hella expensive for 40$
