Will the v8 from my 1990 GMC 1500 fit in a 2003 GMC 1500

I'm looking at 2003 GMC 1500 with a bad engine and want to know if I can install the engine from my 1990 GMC 1500 in it. my engine has about 60,000 miles on it.Thanks Henry

I would not do it as your truck will not pass smog inspection with the old engine.

Thanks engine passes e-test it only has 60,000 miles on it.SO will it fit is what I'm asking!
