Which gets better mpg a car or truck transmission?

Boy that is a wide range question, it all depends on the gearing, usually cars are geared higher but not always, trucks are geared lower for more lower end torque but I have seen the top gear on some rigs to be higher than a cars tranny, so you need to find out what your looking at then locate the specs for the transmissions. HTH
