I have an 1993 crown Victoria lx I would like to take the engine out and put it an a 2003 is it possible

The newer car has different electronic engine controls- it can be done but you will have to deal with electronics- so, why not a hot rod V-8 with a carb on top? old school?

Exactly, '93 is OBD I while '03 is OBD II. Completely different computer systems. HTH. -Jim
