Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A couple weeks ago the battery in
my sons sebring died. I got a
replacement from the junk yard (bad
idea in hindsight) I had to move the
ground for the negative cable to the
firewall so the ground could reach.
After I did that, car will start and run
but the gas peddle will not move
under any amount of force.

This morning I put the correct battery
in it. Put the grounds back in their
original location but the peddle will
still not move. There is nothing
blocking the peddle and I can rev it
by hand on the throttle itself. I'm all
out of ideas. Can anyone help?
