Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has been having distributor issues for about 6 months. It was
popping the rotor button off monthly, so we bought a used distributor. My
mechanic put it on and used a few good parts from the old and a month
later, it will not run again. I can't afford to spend alot of money on it and I
need to have an idea of whats wrong with it. It will not turn over, and if i turn
my key it just makes a weird noise, then the lights on my dash start
dimming. Please help!!!

not enough info...sorry ...take it back to him and say you didnt fix it...and report back here...

Hes my personal mechanic not an actual shop and hes aware its not fixed. What more info do you need?
