Dexcool + green coolant

Asked by Aug 29, 2015 at 04:38 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

9 months ago, I changed my coolant from
dexcool to Preston green anti freeze in my
chevy. I flushed the coolant with water until
only clear water was coming out of the
radiator.
Recently, I noticed that the coolant still had
an orange color. But I've had no overheating
issues since the coolant change and the
coolant seems to be liquid.
Should I be worried?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You still had some of the old fluid in the engine block, not to worry...
