can a crysler sebring 04 be reset with it was that when the computer would throw an engine code, the transmission would go into "Limp Home Mode" and only utilize 2nd gear.

You can reset the codes by taking the battery wire off for about 10 mins. But if your car was in he limb mod and you didn't fix the problem, taking the battery wire off will not help you.
