I have a 2006 Ford Focus that was in a slight front end fender bender that deployed the driver's side airbag. Now, vehicle won't start. Once I remove the bag, is there a way to reset it to start?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have only average tools, no diagnostic
machines etc.  Even a trick to try will be
greatly appreciated.  The wife's car and she
loves it.

No. You must replace the airbag - its there for a reason!

Obvious rationale, but unhelpful. Still looking for an answer.

I have done research on your car model,it has a Air module in it which holds data, from the impact, speed ,time, etc. It will have to be cleared by a dealer for the car to run,and cannot be by passed,i know you don,t like to here this, the air bag will have to be replaced before dealer will reset code all so.
