Check air filter and also clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner spray add throttle body cleaner to gas tank then take out on road and hit your passing gear a few times this well clear out the carbon build up. Be careful no speeding tickets.

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer, 4x4, 4.3 vortec. We have changed the coil pack, fuel filter, distributor cap and button, the crank shaft sensor, cam sensor and plug wires as well as the ignition control module. We coming to a stop sign it will stall and sometimes when just sitting still. Sometimes it will start right back up and other times it takes several tries. I also have the oxygen sensor on order and it should be here tomorrow. Fuel pressure tested perfectly. No black smoke, no smell of rotten eggs or the cat glowing red. The only code that comes up is PO420. 4 Answers

1999 Honda CR-V will not start. I changed the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator along with the fuel filter and the main relay but the vehicle still will not start. The distributor along with the coil was replaced about two months ago, spark is ok. Sometimes the vehicle start for a few second but the engine stalls as if the timming is off but the timing is ok, also sometimes it back fires and when it does the vacuum hose that is connected to the fuel pressure regulator comes off from the regulator. I check the injectors and they are getting power. I disconnected the exhaust thinking of the catalytic but still no start. Could it be the computer? My '92 Caprice Classic will run fine for a day and then will stall and die at a stop. Sometimes c an restart, bvut often have to remove the breather, start it, put the breather back on. Also stalls when making turns. Air filter is good, I removed it and tried to start but no go. Have to remove the breather, start it, and then put it back on.
