Sounds like like your carburetor needs a good cleaning. Spray carb cleaner directly into carburetor will have to keep engine reved up while spraying so that it will not shut off also would not hurt to replace fuel filter if have not done in a while. After cleaning add a bottle of carb cleaner in gas tank.

Firebird is right, but having a MAF sensor,it will not run with out the air intake being on it,so you can not do this running, remove air intake hose and spray it good not running to clean it,.

Many things! fuel filter, fuel pump, dirty carburetor, bad or crimped fuel lines, rust & or water in the fuel tank, etc.
