Is 170,000 miles for cars to many miles to think about buying

Question type: General

I have $2500 to spend as either
down payment or out right but just
want to know a basic cut off for miles

1 Answer

No real cutoff, it really depends on how long you want to keep the car and how it was maintained. Of course buying a car for $2500, make sure you have a little extra cash around for intial fixes and future maintenance. Have the car look at by a mechanic before purchase so you know if there are any blatant issues with it.
